Adopted February 21, 2024:

The West Sacramento Sidewalks and Transportation Equity Program (STEP) plan, approved by West Sacramento City Council in February 2024, identified 12 projects that provide 21 miles of new sidewalk in neighborhoods where residents rely on walking for daily trips most often. STEP establishes the data, processes, policies, and programs necessary for the City to invest in sidewalk improvements and enhance safety, connectivity, and accessibility in areas where they are most needed to make walking a high-quality and safe transportation option.

  2. STEP Project Prioritization Framework
  3. STEP Implementation & Investment Strategy
  4. Public Engagement
  5. Advisory Committee Meetings
  6. STEP Plan
